Psst Secret Pawty Plans!
Heya furfriends!
Whee have a super secret exciting bit of news to share with you. Sunday 9th November is Buddy’s 3rd Birthday.
There is going to a big surprise pawty just for him so whee want to invite you all along! The theme is fancy dress “pirates and princesses”! Whee know it’s pretty short notice but whee would love it if you could all come along and send a pigture of yourself dressed up to roominyourheartcampaign@yahoo.co.uk with the email subject “Buddy’s Birthday”
Whee will hold a vote for the best costume and the winner will get to pick a rescue (UK based rescue) for us to send a gift to some of the less fortunate animals there who are waiting for their furever homes in honour of Buddy’s Birthday instead of buying him a big present this year. Whee think that’s really generous of Buddy to give up his gift, even if he doesn’t know he is doing so yet!
Whee hope you will all come along, even if you don’t dress up and celebrate this special day with us ^_^

Don’t Parsley Me By! (A Pigture Contest)
Hiya efurryone. Firstly you haven’t heard from us two for awhile but here whee are enjoying parsley in the garden today:
This leads neatly onto our new contest. Don’t Parsley Me By. Mummy has decided she needs something as a distraction for her and what better way to keep her busy than with a pigture contest!
Whee would like you to all send us your pigtures of your rescue pets. Whether you adopted them from an official rescue (or shelter), took them from a bad home or situation or saved them from a terrible fate. Whee would like you to send their pigtures with a line about what they came from. The pigture can be of them looking pleading or really enjoying their new homes. (Sorry for anyfurry who doesn’t have a rescue pet, whee will have other pigture contests soon) If you don’t have a rescue pet you can send us a pigture of your pet campaigning for animals in rescues (be as inventive as you like!)
This was inspired by Mummy hearing a song that made her think of rescue pets. The song is called Lonely No More by Clay Aiken. What whee would like to do is, collect as many as whee can and put them into a video to this song to raise awareness of animals in need.
You can send your pigtures to us at roominyourheartcampaign@yahoo.co.uk or tweet them to us @HutchAGoodLife (afraid whee aren’t too savvy with other social networks just yet so just these this time!) Please use the subject title “Don’t Parsley Me By Contest” for email entries and mention the contest in tweets.
The closing date is Thursday 12th September at 1pm (GMT aka UK time) Please spread the word, whee want to get as many hoomans and furries involved as possible. If you have more than one rescue pet you can enter a maximum of three pigtures (all must be of different pets).
Depending on how many entries, whee hope to be able to include efurryone! The pigture that is the overall winner will be the opening pigture for the video and the runner up will be the closing pigture.
So hoomans get snapping and pets get posing.

Not Much Time Left!
Whee are asking you to send us a pigture of you celebrating or your wild parties to celebrate our blogoversary! So far whee have had some great entries which have made us giggle.

Whee Have A Winner And Buddy Has An Announcement!
Well it was definitely a close thing and you all agreed all the entries were great which is why whee have designed a little something for all the entrants! Enjoy:

The final thing of today’s post involves a lovely pair of ladypigs requesting permission to join my Buddy’s Babes fan club! Whee just want to remind you it is open to females of any species. An EGGcellent Idea!
Sorry, whee had to make at least one egg yolk . . . I mean joke! Well, let me get straight to the point, this wheekend is Easter wheekend. And I am proud to launch our three contests in our Easter EGGstraviganza.
Contest 1:
Surprise! What treat would you like to find in your Easter Egg this year? I think most hoomans would want to find me! Send in a pigture of inside your egg. If you need a template there are lots on google. Send your eggs in by 9pm UK time, Saturday 30th March to roominyourheartcampaign@yahoo.co.uk with results being announced on 31st.
Contest 2:
The Easter Bunny has fallen on hard times with the recent financial uncertainty. In a bid to raise awareness of his plight whee need you to write a poem about how busy the Easter Bunny is and how hard it is for him right now. You could even make a story of it, about how you save Easter! Please send your poems to roominyourheartcampaign@yahoo.co.uk by 9pm UK time, on Saturday 30th March with results being announced on the 31st.
Contest 3:
Our third and final contest is one of our classics. A photo contest! Please send us your Easter themed pet portraits to us. They can be photoshopped and editted, or staged with props and/or costumes. There will be a prize for each category. Whether you are a hamster in an egg box or a puppy in a basket whee want to see! Send those in by 9pm UK time on Sunday 31st March with winners to be announced within the next couple of days. Send them attached as jpegs to roominyourheartcampaign@yahoo.co.uk
