Smile for Sunshine
Someone said there would be sunshine today. It looks pretty grey at the moment but whee are keeping out paws firmly crossed. Mummy said that seeing the sunshine makes her smile so whee wondered if it would work the other way round . . .
If I smile will the sun come out?
Here’s my biggest, toofiest, happiest grin to test this!
Do you think it will work? What makes you smile? And how can I convince the sun to stop hiding from me?
Happy Monday efurryone

Naughty Nibbling Nacho
Sometimes Mummy says I’m not the brightest button in the box and sometimes she says I’m downright silly. But in the next pigture she says I took it to a new level.
There’s Noah, enjoying a little spinach leaf over a bowl filled with carrot, celery, pepper and more spinach. I am the one at the back . . . Trying to eat the ceramic bowl . . .
I can’t tell you why I was eating the bowl. Mummy says she thought there might have been some juice from the foods on it or something. Technically whee have brush and chew mineral blocks to keep our teeth trim. And willow twigs to nibble on if whee want. So that must be the explanation!!
Whatever it was Mummy wanted to share it with you and humiliate me!
Have you ever been caught doing something furry silly?
Have a fabulous Friday

PS. There was some extremely upsetting news last night that a dog rescue in Manchester was burning. They arrested a 15 year old boy on suspicion of arson. Sadly 43 dogs are confirmed dead but 170 made it to safety thanks to the bravery of firefighters and two men who ran in and kicked down doors to get to the terrified animals. You can read more and donate to help them here. Our thoughts are with them.
Run Buddy Run
Mummy has said it soo many times and soo many ways. She has fought a brave battle with my bulge but now she thinks she has a plan. Not long ago she put me on Harringtons guinea pig food in controlled portions and gave me less sugary fruits and more vegetables. Slowly I’ve lost weight but as Autumn has begun it’s return whee are spending less and less time in the garden and less time running around. Already my weight is creeping up.
So Mummy purchased this ‘indoor small animal run’ from Argos. Priced at £25 it’s a little steep for what it is but the hoomans had money off vouchers which meant it was only £15.
The box was furry heavy and whee think Mummy got more of a work out carrying it through the house than I will if I zoomy round it all wheek!
It was a flat pack with one page of instructions that I managed to pull into my cage and shred before Mummy noticed it was missing! Luckily for Mummy it was furry basic and each side slotted together easily and came apart and folded down just as quickly.
Although the size is realitively small compared to some it is easily extended either with more pannels or by fixing it open on one side and against a wall.
Here is a pigture of our first time in it:
Mummy began chanting “Run Fat Pig Run!” Unimpressed I lauched a protest:
What ways do you stay fit? Would you use an indoor run? 🙂
Have a great Thursday

Tweet Tweet Tuesday
Well whee said Mummy hadn’t managed to get any pigtures of Robby Robin but this morning she managed it and whee just had to share them with you! Whee know he’s not the same level of adorable as us but he’s furry cute in his own way.
He likes to sit at the top of the tallest tree in our garden and sing first thing in the morning and last thing at night. He’s got a furry good singing voice! Whee have tried to copy him but Mummy laughs at our efforts! The local birds make such a strange range of noises from clicks, to tweets, to caws, to whistles! Sometimes when whee are playing in the garden and Robby Robin starts sings whee squeak to him and he sometimes responds! Mummy will try to film this so you can see for yourselves.
Robins are Mummy’s favourite bird because they remind her of Autumn and Winter which are her favourite seasons. What’s your favourite bird?
Have a great Tuesday whatever you are up to and whee will squeak to you soon!

Mix It Up Monday!
So today’s post isn’t about guinea pigs. It’s actually about a kitty cat Mummy met when she was on holiday! This was the most unusual looking and friendly kitty Mummy had ever met. The cat was absolutely stunning. Mummy couldn’t work out what the colours the made up this cat might be called but if it was a guinea pig it would be described as black and tan.
Do you know the name of this kitties colour? Have you ever made friends with a local kitty cat?
Have a marvelous Monday efurryone
