The Leaves Of Change . . .
Autumn leaves are changing. Oranges, reds, even some browns already! I like looking at them change to more ‘nutty’ colours. They look bootiful but they also make me sad.
The colours of the leaves changing means that the weather is changing, and if the weather is changing then it won’t be long before whee cannot go out in the garden for run time. (Not that I don’t enjoy my indoor runs but I like the fresh air and munching on my green spaghetti grass!)
Mummy had to put out cuddly fleece blankets for us to keep warm in while whee were in the garden (see me in the blue blanket below!). Look at how many leaves were everywhere! (Of course that isn’t photoshopped! What are you insinuating?! That Mummy wouldn’t let me play on the soggy leaves?! Nope, Mummy lets me do whatever I want!)
Although I love this time of year and the excitment is already building for the coming events and special holidays, I still feel a little . . . wistful.
I do love Autumn but sometimes I wish it wouldn’t come so soon and it wouldn’t make things change.
Maybe change is good though. Mummy says whee can start having warm bran mushy noms and other warm foods to keep us happy as it gets colder.
Actually, thinking of that delicious bran-mushy, maybe change isn’t so bad.
What are you going to do to stay warm as the weather gets colder? Do you like Autumn and Winter or do they leave you cold? And how do you deal with change?

Soon it will be sweater weather for me. The big decisions – pink sweater? checkered parka? paw-print fleece? plaid fleece? So many choices….

I miss the seasons truly changing.. living in Florida is nice but sometimes it would be nice to have leaves change and the promise of snow in the morning. Do you have any special things you do when it’s too cold to go into the garden?
You can always see when the seasons are changing here! As far as what whee do when it’s cold . . . Well whee let the little hoomans build obstacle courses out of boxes and toys with veggies hidden around so that’s good fun. Whee get extra fleecey blankets to have cuddles in. Whee get bran mush in the mornings.
All in all quite a lot of fun! 🙂

I don’t think the change would be so bad if we had a summer, but we haven’t this year so I can’t believe it is only gonna get colder! Think I need to look into warmer climates!

Wez agree wiff Basil..Where’s are summer gone?? Years ago wez use to have hot summers, now if we get a couple of dayz of sun, we are lucky. You getz warm food, that’z so cool 🙂 Do you live’z inside in the winter ? 🙂 xx00xx
Whee are pretty spoilt actually. Whee live inside all year round and then in the Summer whee spend our days in the garden and our nights in a cool air conditioned house.

I ADORE autumn. It is my favorite season (being born in October helps lol) I frankly wish it were longer because I think the trees are at their most colorful in the autumn. It is magical and they are truly painted by God. I think autumn is the most beautiful and most temperate season of them all. Love Cody and Dakota’s “Mom”
