Look At Me, Look At This!

You may have been wondering yesterday what had Noah’s attention. Some of you thought he was staging a jail break but I can tell you that he was in fact . . .

Watching me (and Basil)! Even though whee started grumbling and rumbling pretty soon after whee spotted each other Mummy still managed to find time to snap some cute pigtures of us.

It’s not often that she will get all of us in one pigture as whee are not four close furfriends but rather two brotherly like pairings. It is actually very difficult to bond more than two boars (male piggies) together and Mummy says that Basil and Noah both have furry strong pigsonalities so would probably not get along well.

Anyway, whee got pretty worked up seeing each other so Mummy hooman let us try something she has been using recently to calm herself and it worked like magic. So magical in fact whee want to share it with you, whee will see if Mummy can video us so you can see our reaction. The magical meditation tool which helped even some over excited piggies find zen is this site – When whee listen and look at it on Mummy’s laptop whee become almost trance like and Mummy likes to stroke us and give us a little brush or massage which just improves the time! Sometimes whee don’t like the song/background/theme so Mummy refreshes it and whee get a new one just like that.

Whee highly recommend it if you need to de-stress! What do you normally like to do to help you relax?

Anyway whee hope you have a furry relaxing Thursday

Buddy’s New Baby . . .

No. Don’t worry. I haven’t become a young father. You all know that recently I lost my special brother and friend, Bingo. Without him I was really lonely. I didn’t feel like eating or drinking much and kept taking veggies to “Bingo’s Corner” of the cage where I used to feed him when he was unwell. I squeaked and squeaked when the hoomans went out earlier and made so much noise in the night Mummy had to sit up and talk to me

Mummy could see I was really suffering on my own so she has worked hard to help me find a friend.

So furfriends and hoomans, I would like to introduce Basil, a six wheek old piggy who I already very much like.

Mummy has called him Baz in an exasperated voice a couple of times when he does silly things. He tried climbing the bars and popcorning on a shoebox, both ideas were doomed to faliure but he seems to enjoy it. Mummy’s Mum keeps calling him ‘dangermouse’! I wonder why?! His big mouse-like ears maybe? Or his habit for finding danger?! 😉

Whee hope you all like Basil as much as I do and look forward to him getting brave enough to write his own post in a few days!

PS. Our Hamster Diaries prize arrived but whee want to give it a special post of its own tomorrow!

Fifty Strands Of Hay!

As promised whee are giving you a story! Mummy’s first story is a version of the book Fifty Shades Of Grey, which Mummy says is incredibly naughty and very popular in the UK right now. Whee begged and begged her to let us read some so she has written us our own version.

She says it is completely clean and a little like the book. As she won’t let us read the original whee cannot verify this but whee hope you like it and it is the first of many guinea pig stories!

You can find it under the new tab of ‘Piggy Stories’ but here is a direct link.

Nibbles, Nutty, Bingo & Buddy

PS. Just want to say a special hello to Chika and Flicka our new piggy friends. Whee will put you on Buddy’s Babes as soon as whee can!
