An Update on Noah – Whee Need Your Help

Whee are so sorry for the lack of updates. After Noah started to make an improvement he then suddenly went downhill again and looked much worse.

Another vet trip later and he has new eye drops to try to help but he really hates them. He does however still like the painkillers and takes them like a champ!

As you can probably see, his eye is very sore and he is not himself. So whee would like to ask you, on this soggy Saturday, please tell us your funniest animal related jokes or stories so I can try to cheer my fluffy little cagemate up

Whee hope you have a great Saturday and please keep Noah in your thoughts on Wednesday as that is when he goes back to the vets.

  1. I hope there’s lots to smile about soon, little buddy. Around here, Mom has been calling me Frankie for no reason at all. She doesn’t even know any humans or pets named Frankie. When she says, “Come here, Frankie.” I come because I feel sorry for her. And in my mind, I call her Frankie, too….

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  2. Noah I hope your eye is better soon and the drops are history soon… my momma hates that drops too… it is like her eyes can spit fire… well why not… my dad said she is related to dragons :o)

    • Whee think some hoomans might be part dragon. Our Mummy could definitely spit fire when she came down and saw the results of our poop throwing competition all over the living room floor this morning!

  3. Just like the Noah’s ark I wish that you sail through this rough patch smoothly. Sending warm hugs to you two and your hooman too 🙂

  4. Here’s a fund story for you, Noah. Rocky & Selena spent the whole day on Wed at their granpaw’s house. Mommy said our house was being cleaned, and she didn’t think the maids were ready to meet us yet. Go figure, right? Who wouldn’t want to meet us? Anywho… Granpaw left us alone for *hours* so when he came back, we left him a little present on the stairs. Seven stairs to be exact 🙂 We won’t tell who left the present though. It’s a secret!!

  5. For many years, we had a colony of sugar gliders, little marsupials that look a bit like flying squirrels. They have very prominent eyes. Our oldest sugar glider (my favorite) got an eye infection that did not respond to treatment. Eventually, we had the vet surgically remove the eye — and he did great without it. We called him Ol’ One Eye after that, and he lived to be very, very old for a sugar glider. We hope it doesn’t come to that for Noah, but I wanted to let you know that our little darling had been down that road before with unexpected but good results.

  6. Hello sweet piggies!
I hope Noah will be feeling much better soon. I do have a funny story to share. We had a little black kitty named Tuesday. She lived with 3 Rottweilers and a fluffy white dog. Everyone got along perfectly. We put the doggies outside while we filled their bowls with food. Sometimes Tuesday would sneak a dog food morsel before the doggies came in to eat. One day, we let them in and Tuesday was nibbling out of Wrigley’s bowl. He came in like a whirlwind and immediately “locked up his brakes” when he saw Tuesday eating out of his bowl. He stood patiently and waited for Tuesday to finish her snack. It was so funny to see a big 90 pound Rottweiler yielding to a petite kitty. I hope this helps your mood today. Sending lots of love and prayers your way! 😘😘😘 xoxoxoxoxoxo

  7. Noah, I sure hope you feel better soon. I am really worried about you. Hope this joke makes you all wheek and whaff

A police officer sees a man driving around with a pickup truck full of guinea pigs. He pulls the guy over and says… “You can’t drive around with guinea pigs in this town! Take them to the zoo immediately.” The guy says “OK”… and drives away.
The next day, the officer sees the guy still driving around with the truck full of guinea pigs, and they’re all wearing sun glasses. He pulls the guy over and demands… “I thought I told you to take these guinea pigs to the zoo yesterday?” The guy replies… “I did . . . today I’m taking them to the beach!”

BOL!!! Wags and Wuv little buddy.

  8. It’s hard to joke when good wishes are needed.

  9. We’re sending lots of purrs and soft paw pats your way, Noah! Mom told us about a kitty she had before us. His name was Mischief and one day Mom couldn’t find him. She looked outside and inside, high and low. No Mischief. Then she got down on her stomach to look under the couch. She lifted the “skirt” on the couch (no, we don’t know why couches have to have skirts) and she felt something next to her. She turned and there was Mischief looking under the couch with her. She said he looked at her as if to say, “What are we looking for, Mom?” She said she broke out laughing!

  10. We are crossing our fingers and paws here that Noah makes a full recovery.

Our funnies stories always involve our dog George who is a terrible thief. A Polish friend of ours had made from scratch 14 beautiful Polish stuffed pancakes (involving making the cheese herself). We were having a dinner party and she put her offering on a low table (we warned her not to do it) and when we’d finished our main course and went to retrieve our long-anticipated pudding, George had left us 6. Tummy like a drum but he’s never sick. Took us a long time to make it up to Anna 😀

  11. Sending good wishes to sweet Noah – hope you are feeling better soon. Just know that mummy will give you a treat after your eye drops every time (and a kiss)!

  12. A dog a horse and a pig walked into a bar. Only the pig made it under. Bark out loud. We are horrible at jokes. Feel better Noah.

  13. Try holding the medicine bottle to warm them a few minutes before giving the drops. They may feel too cold to a warm piggy. (This worked great when our Daisy had ear mites.) Get lots of fluids, Noah, and feel better soon!

  14. Lots of love and best wishes from everyone here, Noah – be a good boy, your hooman is only giving you the eyedrops to help you (I know you know that as you’re a clever chap, but sometimes you need reminding…)

  15. We’re so sorry to hear about Noah’s problems! We are sending you healing Havachon hugs and lots of POTP that Noah’s eye gets better fast and he feels much better soon.

  16. hello hutchizens its dennis the vizsla dog hay i hope noah feels better soon!!! hay troo storry abowt my brother tucker wen he wuz a puppy in winter in the mithikal land of upstayt noo york he wuz owtside in the snow with my mama and likd an aloominum ladder and his tung got stuck to it!!! just like in the faymus dokyoomentry a christmas story only withowt the fire department!!! he eventchooaly got loose on his own but yoo kan bet he never likd an aloominum ladder agin after that!!! ok bye

  17. I hope you’re eye is feeling better and you just haven’t updated because of Super Bowl Sunday or something. *ear licks* Noodle

  18. We hope you are feeling better Noah and that you won’t have to do those nasty drops for much longer! Make sure your mom is giving you a treat for putting up with those drops each time. We would demand a treat for every drop but our mom says we are a bit demanding — not sure why she would think that! I mean really, we deserve it. Anyway, we wanted to send you wheaks and squeaks to get better soon!

Willow and Zuna the Guinea Pigs
MacKayla the Empress sends her blessings
Joel Gray suggests lots of rest, that is what works best for him
Giblet Paws sends good thoughts but can’t do much else since he’s hiding from the new monster who has invaded the house!
Mittens the Magnificent (who is our new calico kitty) sends her honored hopes for a full and quick recovery — and she has no idea what Giblet’s problem is and is sure it has nothing to do with her scratching his nose (he asked for it you know!)
And our other new member — Tinsel the Siberian Hamster sends a little tiny squeak as well.

  19. Still sending Super Speedy Snuggles to Noah, get well soon my friend,xx Speedy
