  17. **faintz dead away** (Nylablue)
Hello G-Piggiez & Mom, Sherri-Ellen here…Nylablue took one look at Blue & she just sort of fell over….when I asked her what happened she told me he looked like on of her kittens from many years ago….
He is a real beauty isn’t he??
You have no worries; your Mom LOVES to to pieces!
    Love Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue too
    P.S.: She has recovered now….

    • Aren’t they just. We are a little concerned he might be a stray kitty though. How can you tell if it is a stray or someone’s pet?

      • That’s very difficult. He isn’t afraid of some contact, there’s a change he has an owner, or he used to have an owner. Does he look skinny? Or if he’s extremely hungry for food (or he could just be a food-lover)
The best way to find out is to ask around the neighborhood, or even have the vet/shelter check him for a chip (if animals are chipped a lot there)

      • He is very very shy and flinches a lot. It took me about two weeks to gain his trust enough to let me touch him. He is very skinny but lovely and clean so it’s difficult to tell. He just doesn’t seem to behave like the other local cats so I’m a little concerned

      • If he is very skinny, then that’s something to worry about. I don’t know how people are about microchipping their cats? Maybe you can ask the local shelters if someone has reported a missing cat, or see if you can catch him, to get him checked for a chip?

      • I’m guessing he’s microchipped but I am keeping an eye out for an owner and getting to know the neighbours and asking around. So far no one seems to know who’s he is and apparently I’m the only one to have got that close to him but catching him looks to be next to impossible with him running for it if I move to fast or stand up.

      • do you know if there is some kind “found/lost” page for animals on facebook? Maybe you can ask around there?
Try to win his trust. It took with my neighbors cat (who I thought was a stray as well), a few months before I could pick him up. be nice, don’t move too fast, offer your hand before you pet him, etc. Treats may work as well, but that means he might be coming back all the time.

      • I’m really working on gaining his trust. He caught a mouse in my garden last night and ran, dropped it at my feet and then darted back. I was initially a bit upset but I think it’s a sign he likes me so I’m going to keep going with gaining his trust and see what we can do!
