Tweet Tweet Tuesday
Well whee said Mummy hadn’t managed to get any pigtures of Robby Robin but this morning she managed it and whee just had to share them with you! Whee know he’s not the same level of adorable as us but he’s furry cute in his own way.
He likes to sit at the top of the tallest tree in our garden and sing first thing in the morning and last thing at night. He’s got a furry good singing voice! Whee have tried to copy him but Mummy laughs at our efforts! The local birds make such a strange range of noises from clicks, to tweets, to caws, to whistles! Sometimes when whee are playing in the garden and Robby Robin starts sings whee squeak to him and he sometimes responds! Mummy will try to film this so you can see for yourselves.
Robins are Mummy’s favourite bird because they remind her of Autumn and Winter which are her favourite seasons. What’s your favourite bird?
Have a great Tuesday whatever you are up to andΒ whee will squeak to you soon!

We have one too and we are pretty sure he is like the 4th generation. We feed him every morning. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
Whee have a young robin who visits us too. He’s still a bit brown but whee hope that whee will see many more generations to come of them π

Those are fab pics!
I can’t wait for winter, hope we get snow!
Whee know Mummy loves Winter and snow but whee are less keen on the fluffy stuff covering our grass!!
xxxx
That is a pretty bird. Bird sounds scare me sometimes. Usually I try to fly up and tell them a thing or two about all the noise. It turns out I can’t fly.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
That is a shame, but don’t worry, whee can’t fly either. Whee regularly test this but leaping off sofas unexpectedly and having Mummy dive to catch us!
xxxx

Really super photos – Mummy should be proud!
Thanks so much. Mummy was just glad she was awake early enough to get photos of his morning sing song
xxxx
Your robins look totally different from ours. Love that photo of him singing opera style.
Ooooo what do your robins look like? Whee are curious
xxxx
He’s so beautiful and I bet so entertaining! XOXO – Bacon
Definitely entertaining. He has been winding up the neighbourhood cats!!
xxxx
Oh I would love to listen to you and the bird, bet that’s a super song when you sing together!
Whee will be top of the charts!

Why winter? The robins in North America desert us for points south in the winter. One looks for the first robin of the spring.
Hehehe you see a lot of robins in Winter here. Particularly on frosty mornings!!
xxxx
I never heard birds at night when I lived in NYC. In Florida, they are singing all night long.
Whee don’t know what whee would do if they sang when whee were trying to sleep but whee might be a little less happy with them!!
xxxxx
that is seriously one of the most adorable robins I have ever seen! He needs to be in a book!
He does. Maybe Mummy will write one!
xxxx
he’s very happy about the weather at the moment I think,xx Speedy
He probably is enjoying the morning sunshine as much as Mummy!

Fabulous photos! We have robins too, but ours aren’t nearly as pretty as yours. Still, we love them. They used to come in spring (there was a saying that once the robins arrived, winter freezes were over) and leave in summer, but now we have them year round!
Oooo what do your robins look like? Whee are curious ^_^
xxxx
Our robins are a bit larger, about the size of a mockingbird (not sure whether or not you have those) and the red starts at the base of their necks and goes the entire length of their bellies. Ours also have a bit of a white circle around their eyes. I have to say I think your robins are much prettier than ours, but we love to see our robins playing on the lawn.
Your robins sound furry pretty. Whee wonder if they are as noisy as ours
xxxx
Aw, look at his stunning red breast! Our favourite bird is the goldfinch, whee have a pair nest in one of our garden hedges years back and have loved them ever since. They’re beautiful!
The Pigs xx
Whee haven’t seen one of those here yet but whee have heard there are some which is exciting!
xxxx
Soo cuute! I’ve been enjoying your UK wildlife pics Amy,wildlife photographer to be! ^_^ I never seem to get a money shot, or a close shot for that matter.
Awww thanks so much. I love taking photos. I usually take 20 and get 2 or 3 nice one’s so it’s not that easy!! I’m hoping to get better over time π

Mommy likes cardinals (especially against a snowy background) and purple finches. Our humans hand raised a robin once. Her name was Edith. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
