Hutch A Big Decision
You may or may not know this, but the hoomans have been disappearing for short periods of time and coming back after ‘viewings’. It turns out, they want to move hutch because this one is too small for all the little hoomans.
This got us thinking; what do whee want from a new hutch?
So whee compiled this short list of requirements to help the hoomans decide.
- Must have green spaghetti area in garden.
- Must have big fridge space for good veggies storage.
- Must have herb growing space, with extra room for more parsley plants.
- Must be near the piggy food store in case whee need urgent treats.
- Must be near-ish to our ladypig furfriends/holiday home
- Must have good internet for blogging!
- Must be big, but not so big Mummy could get lost getting our veggies
Whee don’t think that’s too much to ask! What would your Hutch requirements be?

well first let me introduce my self this is the first time I have visited. My name Is Fredrieka, my momwithoutpaws calls me Fred. I am a girl dog greyhound/boxer mix momwithoutpaws adopted me and trained me to be a therapy dog. I love my job.
Now onto to this moving thing. Change is sometimes good like when I moved to my forever home, as long as you are loved you will get treats.. No worries.
I think that all sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Good luck to your peeps on finding a new hutch, hope the process isn’t too stressful for them

I’m happy your priorities are in order. If we were moving, I would want a spot where I could run with no leash and not be in danger!

EveryBODY is moving! We NEED to move but I can’t make the decision. Boys I am sure your hoomans will meet all your requirements. If I am going to move, a beach and ocean would be nice!

Oh dear poor hoomans….we did this nearly three years ago guys and our hutch requirements were much more demanding than yours!! we had to have lots of acreage..but not to remote…with good grazing for our sheepies and safe for our pups and kitties…and not a flat roof!!! a big no no in hot areas..and quiet and and and and hahahaha well we got it so I am sure your list will be fulfilled..a hutch is only as good as the folk who share it 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx

Ooh, a new big-house-hutch hey? If whee were moving hutch whee would want to make sure that whee took all our friends with us and that whee had lots and lots of grass to munch on – an absolute must!

Well guys we’re familiar with this whole thing because my Mom and Dad are looking at new hutches too…..I think having strangers in my house while it’s on the market will be NO FUN but I’ll grin and bear it for my parents’ sake! The new hutch must have a lot of hiding spots for me since I like to hide when strangers are in my house…..other than that and a litter box that’s convenience I’m good to go!!!

Given that guinea pigs are little poop machines, I would think that easy-to-clean would be a priority….
Mummy says whee are not going in a room with carpet in the new house. She can’t stand getting the hay off the carpet anymore!!

It sounds like you guys have some pretty serious demands! Cinco and Manna are pretty spoiled kitties, but if they had to have something different, I think they would like a cat nip plant or two.

How exciting. We’ve been looking for a new ‘Hutch’ for so long. I told Mr B, I only NEED a crafty room and a nice kitchen. Oh and maybe a garden with an entry from the kitchen. Not too fancy really. Good Luck. We’re really hoping hard.

That is quite the dream hutch. I agree with peacelovenwhiskers and you definitely need a cozy sleeping spot- you’ll need to cuddle up after eating all those tummies in your new hutch!

When we moved mommy had a bunch of things on her wish list but all doggie wanted was a fenced yard to play in. Hope your hooman enjoys the hutch search!
