Deer, Oh Deer . . .

Whee could tell you that this post was planned in advance and whee knew exactly what whee were doing. But that would, of course, be a lie. Truth is Mummy is showing another of her rapidly multipling failings. First she feeds our carrots to some silly hoomans and now . . . Brace yourselves . . . She hasn’t taken any pigtures of us. *insert shocked gasps here*

I know, I know. It is shocking. So whee are now having to make do with getting a post from some of Mummy’s other pigtures. As Pigmass is approaching whee think these pigtures are at least vaguely relevant, in a sleigh-pulling-sort-of-way! Mummy took them when she went off on one of her family walks a wheek or two ago. She says deer are much bigger than us.

Whee aren’t sure what sort of deer they are (any deer experts out there care to lend a paw?!) but they really are quite bootiful? (Not as bootiful as us but not bad!)

What is your local wildlife like? Do you have deer too? And what would you suggest as names for the deer Mummy photographed? (Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph are already taken!)

Hope you all survived Manic Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Wow. We have white-tailed deer here in our yard (I watch them from my window seat). The little ones are SOOO cute!
    Purrs, Sundae

  2. Those deer are cute as a buttermilk biscuit. Around here there are squirrels which I want to chase, but I’m not allowed, and geese which Mom says are gross. But I want to eat their poop. I’m the only cute wildlife in this neighborhood…

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  3. So beautiful. We live in the suburbs in a neighborhood full of homes but near a large park so we get tons of deer, fox, coyotes, falcons, rabbits, etc. We love to watch the wildlife!

    Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig

  4. Mustn’t let her get away with no photos guys – what’s the plan? Food strikes are definitely out. Squeak protests? Hay scraping mayhem? I’m sure you’ll come up with some attention seeking device. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Wow, one of them has really big horns. Here we have Whitetail Deer.

  6. Cute but what big horns they have. I am not allowed near deer as I would probably chase them and get into trouble. Have a terrific Tuesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  7. wonderful post! Love seeing deer except for when the car meets them in the road…. hard on teh car.. harder on the deer

  9. Mom is slacking. No pictures. *hides face* – A

  10. Deer Oh! Deer, where have all the gorgeous piggies gone? The deer are beautiful but they would be more so, if they had piggies to enhance their look. Peaches, Daisy, Cinnamon and Snuggles. xxxx

  11. I think we do have deers, some foxes as well. But mostly rabbits, hares and hedgehogs. ๐Ÿ™‚
