Hey Mister Post-y-man, look and see that parcel is addressed to a piggy!

Yes today whee recieved our parcel from our good friend Savannah (If you click the link you can see why whee recieved this gift from her and her hoomans). It was super exciting because it had our names on it!

Whee are getting stuck into it, though whee admit whee have cried over some of the saddest stories.

  1. Do you like the box as much as the book? We’ve heard other recipients were very partial to the packaging 😉

  2. Oh that’s a great book, we were lucky enough to win it too..Pop over, results are in 🙂
    Mollie and Alfie

  3. Well done 🙂 It seems we are all winners of competitions today 🙂

  4. The book is just gorgeous!! But the box was very interesting an yummy too :o))

  5. Looks like a good read! I am checking it out. Thanks!

  6. Hey Piggies! We loved our copy of that book too…….it made us feel so happy to hear about rescued animals finding their forever home and in some cases their first GOOD encounter with a human ever. It’s one of those book that will always be in our home library that’s for sure!
    Kitty Hugs, Sammy

  7. awwww..you piggies are the furry bestest!! Thank you for talking about the book…it has very impawtant stories about all the peeps who help get the doggies to the airplanes and into their homes…the pilots are so nice to always talk about this…paw pats, Savvy

  8. Greetings Nibbles, Nutty, Bingo and Buddy! I’ve, uh, never written to a guinea pig before…but I just had to reach out to say how delighted I am that you have enjoyed reading (and maybe eating…) my book. (If you use it for anything else in the hutch, please don’t tell me.) I’m a little embarrassed now that there are no tales of GP rescue, but if you look closely (page 88), you will see a picture of one of your distant cousins–a pig of the porky variety. All the best to you, happy little hutchmates. I love your blog–can’t wait to show it to my two boys this evening. (They’re half-Brit, incidentally. Mom’s from Surrey.)

    • Wowee. A real author-ey hooman wrote to us! Whee are loving reading all the stories (though Mummy has gotten a little teary over some) It is always nice to see people helping animals as they don’t often get the recognition they deserve. Our Mummy wrote a book that included GP rescues a little while back ( this will show you it – http://www.lulu.com/shop/search.ep?contributorId=1101327 ) so whee haven’t missed out! Please spread the word about us! Whee wanna be blogstars!

      • Just checked out your mum’s book. Very cool! She must be the guinea pig guru referenced in the book description.
Incidentally, I think I’m going to change my business card to identify myself as
an “author-ey hooman”. I never know what to call myself.
        Nibble on,

Squeak to us!!!
