Tissue IS a Toy!

Whee don’t care what Mummy says. Tissue is a great toy. If she thinks she can clean out our cage, leaving the tissue in reach, and not let us play with it, she’s got another thing coming. Like cardboard tubes of hay, veggie kebabs, bubble wrap, brown paper bags and cuddle teddies, this rates as one of our favourite games.

Whee love grabbing a corner and dragging it into the indoor run. Then listening to Mummy squeal and try to pull it back. A great tug of war ensues with Mummy demanding people stop taking pigtures and help her! Tearing off strips whee create quite a mess. Oh the fun whee have!

I still cannot understand why Mummy gets so cross, she only has to clean up when whee are done and it’s not like she was even using that piece when whee tore it to shreads. It’s still useable . . . ish. As long as you ignore the holes.

Do you have a favourite toy your hoomans disapprove of?

  1. I’m with you. (By the way this is Zac back again). I love tissues. They are soft and chewy and yet also melt in your mouth. The Princess and I are always lying in wait for the bedroom door to be left open and if we get in there the first place we inspect is next to the beds where the boxes of tissues are kept. I have been found with tell tail shreds of white stuff all around me whilst lying on the floor πŸ™‚
Beloved gets cross too. We also search handbags and may I recommend pockets. Pockets often yield really good results.
    Happy tissue hunting.

  2. You are devilish piggies! Tissues look like fun! Sometimes I try to eat paper napkins if they have delicious mouth-wiping flavors on them.

    Love and licks,

  3. Tissue can be fun. Our humans get angry when we plant our noses in the dishwasher after dinner. It is our favorite toy. πŸ™‚

  4. I like tissues too, ripping them, chewing them…but most of all having one in my mouth and playing ‘catch me if you can’ with my humans πŸ™‚

    • Whee play catch me if you can too! Mummy chases us and it turns into a tug of war. Unfortunately tissue isn’t all that strong so it doesn’t last long in our games! πŸ˜‰

  5. Well I think everyone knows how I feel about tissue since I’m always talking about it AND I have a pile of it in the living room to lie on, play under/in, and hide my toys among! Tissue is delightful stuff and I discovered it late in life I’m afraid. But to answer your question there ARE some things I LIKE that I’m not allowed to play with…..like big rubber bands, pieces of string, paper clips, ballpoint pens for instance. Those are all “NO NOs” around here. Mostly because if I actually ate or swallowed any of them (except for the pens of course) I’d be in BIG trouble and have to go to the vet ! You guys have fun with your tissue – it’s on my “highly recommended” list of toys for ANY animal!

  6. Tonight I disagreed with the electrical cord to the heater that got chewed on. And my beach kaftan, that I found holes in with a Pirate in it…

  7. One little tissue. Well I never. Tell your Mom she is very lucky. Just imagine what 3 cats and toilet rolls can do!

  8. My piggies like kitchen roll and newspaper and nibbling my finger on the odd occasion too.

  9. Tissues sound FUN. I’ve not come across those yet but I have great fun with tea-bags – they shred up nicely! I’ve not been told off though – guess its because, living on a boat, anything messy just gets hosed down.

  10. I’m rather partial to a good roll of toilet paper… πŸ™‚
